CFDs are complex products. Trading is risky and may not be suitable for everyone. Excess volatility increases risk further. Be cautious. Past performance is not an indication of future results.

GETTING STARTED

Exness Sign Up, Step by Step

This page walks you through what happens when you register at Exness — from the first email field to your first practice account. Written for complete beginners.

Signing up at Exness starts with an email address and a password — that is all. It is enough to open a demo account (a practice account with virtual money), and no documents are needed for that. Identity checks come later, only if you decide to open a real account.

What you need before you start

Very little: an email address you can open, and a few quiet minutes. You do not need money, documents, or any trading experience to take the first step.

The sign-up, one step at a time

  1. Enter your email and create a password

This creates your Personal Area — the private dashboard where all your Exness accounts will live. It takes about a minute.

  2. Confirm your email

Exness sends a confirmation message. Click the link inside it to show the address is yours. If nothing arrives, check the spam folder.

  3. Open a demo account

A demo account is filled with virtual money, so nothing real is on the line. It is free, it has no time limit, and it needs no documents. One honest note: demo results don't guarantee real-account results.

  4. Practise before anything else

Place small demo trades. Learn how orders, charts, and closing a position feel. There is no deadline — take weeks if you want. The guide to your first trade shows a calm way to do this.

  5. Verify your identity — only when you go real

To open a real-money account, Exness asks for identity verification, often called KYC (Know Your Customer). You upload an ID document and confirm your details. This is a standard check before real money moves — it is not needed for demo.

  6. Add money last, and only if you are ready

The Standard account has no minimum deposit; some other options start from about $10, depending on account type and region. The exact minimum is shown during sign-up, before you send any money.

Common sign-up questions

Do I need documents to sign up?

Not for a demo account — email and password are enough. Documents are only requested when you open a real account and go through verification (KYC).

Does the demo account expire?

No. Exness demo accounts have no time limit, so you can practise for as long as you need.

Do I have to deposit money right after registering?

No. You can keep a demo-only sign-up for as long as you like. Adding real money is a separate, later decision.

Ready to try the first step?

Open a demo account first — it is free, uses virtual money, and needs nothing but an email. Real money can wait until you feel steady on demo.
